As a Data Center Facility Technician , you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Data Center Facility Technician joining our Air Force (AF) Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team at Langley AFB, VA.HOW OUR DATA CENTER FACILITY TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :
Installs, removes, and/or reconfigures equipment.
Performs configuration control/maintenance of server room environment.
Ensures space allocation control (e.g., safety, fire).
As needed, operates backup emergency generator equipment. Operates Uninterrupted Power Supply System (UPSS).
As required, inspects emergency thermal systems and fire suppression systems. Inspects and sustains physical security access systems, alarms, sensors, and perform preventative maintenance.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):
Security Clearance Level: TS with SCI Eligibility
Required Experience: 10 years
Education: BA/BS or MA/MS Degree
Location: Langley AFB, VA
